Late Sir Damle was a scholarly graduate from VJTI Mumbai and IIT Kanpur, India. In the year 1965 he established S. V. Damle Consulting Engineers in Delhi, which is still counted among one of the finest engineering firms in India.

A pioneer and legendary structural consultant, he was accredited with some of the most prestigious projects and clientele in the country. 
 

Sir Damle dealt with a vast array of project types which included institutional buildings, hospitals, office complexes, hotels, residential complexes, 
private houses, sports facilities and places of worship.

Remembered as a thorough professional and a noble soul, under his leadership the firm contributed substantially in the field of building engineering.
